The other day Mom had to work late. So Aunt V came over to walk us. But instead of walking us, she said for us to get into her car.
Us: Uh Aunt V, we gotta pee.
Aunt V: In a minute.
Us: How long is a minute?
Aunt V: 60 seconds.
Us: How long is 60 seconds?
Aunt V: Doesn't matter. We're here.
Here? Here where?
A park is where. A human park. But doggies are allowed.
She said since we were home all day, she thought she would take us to a different spot to walk and do our business and get some fresh air.
There were all sorts of new smells. There were trees and bushes and grasses and leaves and trails and dirt...
...and even gopher holes.
I can see him! I wanna get him!
It's a really nice park. Lots of open area.
We went in the evening, so you could see the sun setting behind all the tall trees.
There's all sorts of things to do at this park. There's a baseball field. We were able to watch a softball practice going on.
There's a basketball court. And even a skate park. Now usually we bark like crazy when we see skateboarders. We try to run and attack them, but at the park, it was cool watching them do all sorts of tricks..... from afar.
But we liked to just run around. Not off leash, but Aunt V ran with us.
That was a fun walk, and we can't wait to go back. The best part is, it's only a block away from us. Now it's time to go home and wait for Mom.
Lots of licks,
